Beautifully situated in the valley of the Jeker, you will find a charming village named Eben-Emael. Here, the Jeker has carved its way to Maastricht, where it flows into the Meuse. In addition to marl, flint has been mined in the Jeker valley for centuries. The museum in the striking tower of Eben-Ezer illustrates the history of this. However, Eben-Emael is of course best known for its fort.
