The valley of the Jeker formed in the southeast of Haspengouw. The rolling relief and fertile slopes of the Jeker valley are surrounded by open arable lands, with old hayfields in the valley primarily bordered by hawthorn hedges. The Jeker is the only river in Haspengouw that flows into the Meuse.
