This is the short walking loop of the Oud-Rekem walking area. Here you will discover the distinctive, historic village of Oud-Rekem and the nearby nature reserve of Oude Weerd. The Oude Weerd is a small-scale area with a variety of hedgerows, hedges, bushes, and ponds. It forms an important stepping stone for all kinds of plants and animals in the nature connection that links the Ziepbeek and the nature cores along the Meuse with those of the Hoge Kempen.
