With the orange loop trail, you can see the southernmost part of the Maas Valley River Park. The Maas village of Oud-Rekem once lay along the Meuse, which over time shifted its banks to the east. You will discover the winding river and its twists along this route. Only this route passes through the Hochterbampd nature reserve, a natural area that emerged after sand extraction. It is definitely worth taking a stroll here all the way to the Meuse.
