The walking area is a region of contrasts, with the vast fields at the foot of the Kempens Plateau on one side and the small-scale landscape of the Brand in Voorshoven on the other. Stroll along the charming villages of Opitter and Tongerlo, or explore alongside the Zuid-Willemsvaart. Be surprised by the many water mills or the beer brewing process at the brewery in Opitter. With a bit of luck, you might spot the kingfisher or the yellowhammer, and in spring, you feel like you're in De Brand with moments reminiscent of a tropical rainforest as the mysterious tree frogs try to outdo each other with their calls. Agriculture, nature, and water alternate. KempenBroek at its best!
