The Bellevuebos is located on the steepest slope of the Winterbeek valley and is one of the largest contiguous forests in this region, managed by the Agency for Nature and Forest. The beautiful vistas referred to by the name 'Bellevue' are due to the fact that this domain lies between 60 and 87 meters above sea level. At the southern edge of the forest, you will find Castle Belle Vue, likely an 18th-century hunting pavilion of Baron de Copis, the then lord of Gors.
