The landscape walk Alden Biesen, on the eastern slope of the Demer Valley, takes you past the high-stem orchards of the Alden Biesen estate, extensive fields on the plateaus, stream valleys with wet micro-nature, and stunning panoramas. In the middle of the area stands the Alden Biesen land commandery proudly. This monumental castle site has made a significant mark on the surroundings and the history of the region.
