You cross the Bosbeek twice, which forms the natural boundary between two contrasting landscapes in Wurfeld. In the Tösch, you are surprised by a piece of wilderness on a small scale in a marshy environment with wet woodlands, pools, tussocks, and thickets. On the northern side of the winding Bosbeek lies the Langeren area. Here, fields and meadows mainly shape the landscape. You will find a treasure of small landscape elements such as hedgerows and tree edges that are more than 100 years old. Numerous watermills are still present on this stream, including the Klaaskensmolen in Neeroeteren, the last working sawmill in Flanders, and the Wurfeldermolen in Wurfeld.
