The yellow route departs from the center of Paal. Through quiet village streets, the route leads you to the edge of the Valley of the Black Brook. You will discover some beautiful sunken roads - with their typical vegetation - and are treated to a fantastic view of the valley.
Along the way, you pass the Gestelse Mill. This is an old watermill on the Black Brook (currently privately owned). Here you can briefly deviate from the route to take a look at a piece of the Valley of the Black Brook that is managed by Natuurpunt.
The route does not pass through a nature reserve, so along the way there are slightly more paved roads than in our other hiking areas. These are usually quiet back roads.
