A route from the 'Original Walks' site featuring some newly opened paths and old paths that cannot be found on the route you map. A not too difficult walk for the beginner Ardennes walker. The route description can be printed out on the Original Walks site and take the GPS along as a backup.

A walk starting at the church of Villers-en-Fagne, a small old village in the Namur Fagne. The paths have various characteristics from well-trodden to little-used rough paths. Large forests, expansive fields, and beautiful views of the landscape. Picnic spots, after 12 km in the grass by a mini waterfall of the L' Hermeton or after 13 km a picnic bench along the L' Hermeton.

In Sautour we diverge from the path for a small climb (10%) to the remnants of an old fortification and on the way back rewarded with a beautiful panorama.

In front of the church(door) there are three parking spaces with benches or parking in Rue de l'Eglise. Walking time is approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes (without picnic).
