The valleys of the IJse, the Zilverbeek, and the Laan van Neerijse to Genval and back

Route starting at the IJsepad at the bridge over Kamstraat, 3040 Neerijse, to Genval and back. The starting and ending point can easily be connected with various places in Neerijse.
Follow the path along the river IJse to Huldenberg. In Huldenberg, turn left onto Elzastraat. Ascend via Kausdelle and Speylaert to Nijvelsebaan, which crosses Waversteenweg (N4). Here, we ride on the plateau with beautiful views. Follow this road until Reutebeek and through a dry little valley. Turn right onto Ramelstraat to cross the Brussels-Namen highway (E411) towards Maleizen. Then follow Poelweg towards Rosiére and Meer van Genval. Descend to the lake at Boslaan. Loop around the lake, next to Zilverbeek (Argentine in French). Then ride to junction 18 and 19. After junction 19, head towards 20. Immediately after junction 19, watch carefully as there is an unfriendly situation for cyclists with a dangerous road to cross to the tunnel under the E411. Then follow the ramp to Brussels to drive right towards junction 20 (Tombeek). Now we follow the valley of Laan (Lasne in French). From Tombeek to Terlanen. After Terlanen, we climb Holstheide to Nijvelsebaan. Here we again have a beautiful view of the Dijle valley on the right and the IJse valley on the left. Just before the end of Nijvelsebaan, we follow Wilderstraat down to end back in Kamstraat.
