This walking route in the Mechelen metropolitan area allows you to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. You start at the bridge of the Stationsberg, where you immediately have a splendid view of Mechelen and the Arsenal. From there, you walk towards the northern Barebeek, where you cross a charming bridge. You continue your path to the southern Barebeek, another bridge that beautifully frames the surroundings. Along the meandering Dijle, beautiful vistas open up, perfect for a moment of reflection. The towpath along the Dijle offers a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle for a while. The route is easy and 4.3 kilometers long, perfect for a short getaway. Enjoy nature and the views while your mind and body get moving.
