This walking route takes you through the green hills of the Zwalm region, where nature and history go hand in hand. You start at the Chapel of Our Lady of La Salette in Roborst, a quiet witness of devotion from the 19th century. As you continue your walk, you discover the Bocclo Wine Domain, where the Belgian wine tradition is just beginning to take shape. The Saint Margaret Chapel, located at the highest point of the hill, offers a beautiful view and a touch of history with its walled cemetery. The restored pillory in Wijlegem tells stories from times long past. This circular route of 7.2 kilometers takes you through a natural environment, far away from the hustle and bustle, allowing you to enjoy the tranquility and rich architecture of the region.
