Discover the charm of Eikevliet as you walk through a landscape rich in history and architecture. This easy route of 3.6 kilometers takes you past some remarkable sights, starting at the historic Brouwerij Roomen. After that, you will explore the classical Sint-Lambertuskerk, proudly standing on an elevation, and the atmospheric presbytery of the Sint-Lambertusparochie with its walled garden. You continue your way to the former convent of the Sisters of Vorselaar, where time seems to stand still. Don’t forget to take a moment at the Chapel of Our Lady of Help, a tribute to the survival of cholera. This route is mostly car-free and offers you the chance to experience the rich history of the region in tranquility.
