Discover the rich history and architecture of the Noorderkempen during this easy 4.6-kilometer walking route. You start near the St. Valentinus Church, a place where time seems to stand still. As you walk through the landscape, you'll pass impressive farms that tell stories of bygone times. The elongated farm with its characteristic gable roof and the U-shaped farm from the 19th century are real eye-catchers. Don't forget to take a look at the former town hall of Poppel, which houses a mix of styles. The route leads you further to the late Gothic parish church and its serene cemetery, where history and architecture come together. Let yourself be carried away by the stories of this unique piece of Flanders.
