This walking route takes you through the heart of Vilvoorde, where history and culture go hand in hand. Start your journey at the Met, a market hall that was once the bustling heart of the weekly market. Enjoy the atmosphere of the square and let yourself be surprised by the liveliness of Plein Publiq, where circus acts enchant young and old alike. Further along, admire the neo-classical town hall, which takes you back to bygone times. Don't forget to take a look at De Koning Van Spanje, a historic building with a rich background. End your walk at the modern St. Joseph Parish Church, where architecture and history come together. This 5-kilometer route is perfect for a leisurely exploration.
