This easy walking route of 5.1 kilometers takes you through the green heart of Begijnendijk, where nature and culture go hand in hand. You start at the statue of Begga, the beguine, which does justice to the name of this place. As you continue walking, you come across the Worker’s Monument, a futuristic artwork that makes you think. The Saint Lucia Church, built by the village community, tells a story of togetherness and perseverance. Don't forget to take a look at the nature reserve 'de Raam', where meadows and ponds provide the ideal spot for a moment of peace. Finally, the war memorial reminds us of the history of this region. Enjoy the interplay between culture and nature while you gradually enhance your well-being.
