Route over the GR5A and here also part of the E2 (Western variant) from Aalst to Aspelare.
I personally find the first part not so beautiful, but later there are more hills and the typical hollow roads.

Aalst - Various trains and buses.
Aspelare - Line 57 (Geraardsbergen - Aalst)
