Hasselt is the perfect base to explore Limburg by bike. Experienced cyclists who enjoy art and regional products can truly indulge in Haspengouw. There is so much to discover in the city itself, such as the Art Route that takes you through creative places and the impressive Z33, House for Current Art, Design, and Architecture. The bike route takes you from the highest point of Hasselt towards Borgloon, through a hilly landscape with castles, orchards, and unique art projects. At various spots, art and nature beautifully blend together, and it is worthwhile to get off your bike for a short walk. Along the way, you'll pass fields filled with local products, so a tasty break is definitely recommended.
Practical: between junction 154 and junction 155, you will briefly divert from the junction network towards the viewing chapel.
