This short walk takes you through the valley and over the slopes of Hazendal. You start at the Grønendaal station, which was built in 1895 and is an example of station architecture from the late 19th century. The IJse runs through the valley, serving as a source for several lovely ponds that you will see.
Note: This is a walk on a virtual walking network. The nodes are not marked on the ground.
Keep in mind that this walk runs along forest paths. Wear sturdy shoes or boots in bad weather.
The walk is offered by the Leisure Service of the local government of Hoeilaart, VISIT Vlaams-Brabant, and the Agency for Nature and Forest.
