The Koedalbos walk starts at the GC Felix Sohie and goes to the Koedalbos, a forest that was planted in 2008 under the patronage of Rob Vanoudenhoven and the mentorship of Veerle Baetens during the Boompjes weekend of Kom op tegen Kanker, together with hundreds of volunteers. Along the way, you walk through the Bemdekensveld, a nature reserve where grape greenhouses used to stand. The greenhouses were demolished (here and there you can still see remnants like walls) and it became a beautiful area of silence and tranquility with some resting benches and picnic spots. Please note: the Bemdekensveld is not accessible for carriages and wheelchairs.
