Beautiful cycling route in the vicinity of stunning nature around the old Leie meanders.

You will still encounter many relics of the former flax industry, with the Leie meanders as the center.

You can find quite a few old buildings such as root wells and barns where the flax was processed into valuable shiny fibers.

Best done in dry periods (otherwise some muddy sections), but ideal for summer.
