Heritage walk offered by Erfgoed Vlaanderen (more info: www.toekomstvooronsverleden.be) and published in the member magazine 'Erfwoord'.

To discover the architectural heritage of Sint-Niklaas, the hiker does not have to go back centuries in time. The 17th century may have left interesting buildings on the Grote Markt, but in various places in the city we are also fascinated by beautiful gems of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and new objectivity. Thanks to wealthy textile barons, merchants and religious, who built entire streets in the interwar period.
