From Bruges train station, Damme is accessible via bus line 43 Bruges – Oostkerke. Please note, this bus line does not operate during certain weeks of the year. The hike begins at the picturesque Damme and leads through Vivenkapelle, Moerkerke, Hoorn-St.-Rita, Middelburg, and Eede to Maldegem. Several bus lines operate at the Maldegem market, including 58 Bruges – Eeklo – Ghent and 87 Maldegem – Aalter – Deinze, which take you to the train stations Bruges, Ghent-St.-Pieters, Eeklo, Aalter, or Deinze.
