This time, the hiker leaves Flanders and explores Maldingen, a district of Burg-Reuland in the Belgian Eifel. Maldingen won the "village competition", organised by Landelijke Gilden in eastern Belgium. She leaves with four active members of the "village group" and their volunteer supervisor Arthur Jodocy. His companions in this German-speaking village, about ten kilometers southeast of Sankt-Vith, are Jakob Schrauben, webmaster of maldingen.be, Jakob Thommessen, the president of the village group, Mathieu Gans, the representative of the elders and Sonja Houscheid, municipal councillor of Burg-Reuland.
