Brussels Zoniënwald Network - Route 1: from Tervuren to Oudergem

This 14 km long forest walk begins at the terminus of tram 44 near the Africa Museum. It takes you through the Warandepark of Tervuren, through the Capuchin Forest, and along the Royal Promenade, past the Little Flossendelle and Leemberg, and over the Red Monastery to the subway station Hermann-Debroux (terminus of subway line 5).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Starting point: Terminus of tram 44, stop Tervuren Station (MIVB).
Endpoint: Subway station Hermann-Debroux (line 5 to the Central Station).

At the Central Station, take subway line 1 towards Stokkel and get off at Montgomery. There, switch to tram 44 to its terminus Tervuren Station. This is where the walk begins. At the end, at the station Hermann-Debroux, take subway line 5 back to the Central Station.

To return to the starting point using public transport: near the subway station Hermann-Debroux, take tram 94 towards the Tram Museum. Get off there and take tram 44 towards Tervuren Station.
