From Velzeke, we ride through Oombergen, Sint-Lievens-Houtem, Vlierzele, and Schellebelle to Overmere Donk. In Schellebelle, we take the ferry! In Overmere Donk, we ride around the lake and continue along the bike path beside the Schelde towards Schoonaarde. There, we head towards Hofstade and then onward to Mere, along the new bike path to Burst. We return to our starting point via Herzele, Grotenberge, and Zottegem.
The bicycle route is fully paved and suitable for recreational cyclists as well as for individual or small groups of road cyclists. The ride regularly takes place on car-free bike paths, and through the woods and along the water.
