"De Vlaskoorde" was officially opened on July 11, 2010, on the occasion of the nomination of Sint-Baafs-Vijve as the "Village in the Spotlight 2010". This cycling route consists of three loops and allows you to discover the most picturesque corners of Sint-Baafs-Vijve, Wielsbeke, and Ooigem. "De Vlaskoorde" derives its name from the silent witnesses of the centuries-old flat tradition. This route was outlined by the municipality of Wielsbeke in collaboration with various local associations and the Tourism Leiestreek vzw.
