Between the cities of Leuven and Aarschot lies a particularly attractive hilly landscape, the Hageland. Hiking in this region will show you many varied landscapes, such as plains, hills and lush forests, but also the traditional way of life of the farmers here. Here you will see many farms that managed to preserve their ancient characteristics. The small trails lead you close to their farmyards so you can enjoy the sounds and smells of the animals. Here and there you’ll feel you travelled back to the 60s.
