The longest inclined plane in the world

The artwork consists of 2 movable water tanks. Like real bathtubs 91 meters long on wheels, they are pulled upwards over a distance of 1432 meters and then enter another channel section where they can continue on their course. The shippers gain a lot of time over the lowest and highest levels of the inclined plane, which would not be the case with a lock system.

At the top of the highest point stands a 150 m high tower, which houses the engine room. The tower is open for visits and offers you a sensational spectacle.
