Raeren circular route via Kornelimünster

We start at the Vennbahn car park in Langenend in Raeren and follow the signs for the Raeren cycle path to the Köpfchen border crossing, where Café Kuckuck encourages you to take a break. We continue to follow the signs for the Raeren cycle path, but do not turn into the Freyenter Forest, but follow the Augustinerweg to the end and turn sharply right into the "Grüne Eiche" past Gut Hebscheid over the Johannisberg. At the end we turn left into Hebscheiderheide, cross the E40, then Lichtenbuscherstr. into Totleger until we follow Raerenerstr on the right at the end of it. At the Kinkebahn junction, we turn left in Langfeld and follow the Kinkebahn and the Nüthheimer Weg until we meet the Vennbahn route in Sankt Gangolfsweg. If you like, you can take a break in the nearby old town of Kornelimünster. We turn right onto the Venbahnroute and follow the old railroad until we meet the access point at the Langenbend car park again.
