Trip from Raeren through the Aachen Forest and Prussian Forest back to Moresnet and then back to Ra

The tour starts at the corner of Rott- and Waldstrasse, through the district of Neudorf along the Iterbach to the center of Driesch. We follow the main road towards Eynatten, but we quickly leave it and turn right into Raafstr. after Vegefenes, Panneschopp, Rattenhaus, Berlotte, and after about 250 m we turn left into the Fryenter Forest towards Lichtenbusch. There, we cross the E40 and stay half left past the sewage treatment plant to re-enter the forest, crossing the border into Germany and reaching the border crossing Köpfchen via Augustinerweg. We cross the B52 and proceed via Rotsiefweg into the Aachen Forest. The ride through the Aachen Forest ends just before Gut Entenpfuhl where we cross the B264 and ride along the B264 to the right for about 100 m, then turn left into Preusswald via the lower Backersweg. We follow this until we reach the upper Backesweg and turn left to get to Südweg. Arriving at Südweg, we go left and pass the 136 m high radio tower Mulleklenkes, then we turn right and follow Moresneterweg into the Belgian Moresnet. We follow Rue de la Chapelle to the right, then turn left opposite the church Notre Dame Auxiliatrice into Rue de la Clinique. About 200 m behind the senior citizens' home, there is a fantastic view of Hammer Bridge. We follow the path to the end, then turn left into the village of Moresnet. We follow Rue du Village to the right for about 300 meters before turning left into the field path. Here, you need to be careful, as you must sharply turn left after about 100 m onto a narrow footpath, and then follow the Geul until it turns left near N3 in La Calamine for about 500 m. At Casinoweiher, we turn right and follow the shore of the pond, later following the Geul until just before Eyneburg. We turn left into Emmaburger Weg and at the end of the street, cross Rue Altenberger to Martinststr. Then we turn right into Aachenerstr, pass the church, and exit the roundabout at the second exit into Asteneter Str. Behind the fish pond, we encounter the Geul again, turn left into Hammer Weg, and follow the Geul for the last time until we turn half right to follow Fossei. We cross the old railway line into Asteneter Str., then turn right into Hauseter Str., cross the E40, and turn left behind the water castle, passing Eynattener church, crossing N68, to turn left into Louisenstr. into Lichtenbuscher Str. We leave Lichtenbuscher Str. half right into Raafstr. and then follow the way to the right where we turn left at the end into Kinkebahn until Berlotter Chapel. There we follow Grachtstr. to the right, then half left via Burgstr. past the pottery museum, through Bergstr., Platzstr., Iterstr., Bahnhofstr., Botz, Plei, Kreuzstr., back to the notice point of the tour.
