On the Day of the Slow Way, we outline a short and a long hike along well-known and lesser-known streets and alleys in Berendrecht and Zandvliet. This raises awareness and protects them from disappearing.
This time, the hiking trails are at the transition to the port: the small polder and (hobby) agricultural area, the polder dikes at the salt marshes, the Reigersbos with its nature, ... This allows you to experience a great variety of landscapes with often wonderful views.
This activity is part of the Day of the Slow Way www.tragewegen.be/dtw and is organized by Natuurpunt Antwerpen Noord vzw, Polderdistrict department.
