Veurne - Popering

This highway and motor route through the beautiful landscape of Westhoek takes you past unique attractions. The offer is so vast that you have to make decisions. We begin with an exploration of Veurne and then drive through the Moeren, a land reclaimed from the sea. After that, we arrive in the Bachten de Kupe region with the open-air museum in Izenberge. This route continues past the castle of Beauvoorde, the magnificent church of Lo, and definitely not to be missed, the abbey of Westvleteren, famous for its Trappist beer. There you have the opportunity to take a nature walk and/or enjoy a Trappist beer, whether with or without Paters cheese. This is the only place where you can buy a Trappist beer from Westvleteren. We then drive through narrow streets to the artistic village of Watou, ending at the Grote Markt in Poperinge.
