Walking on the Schreve, the border between Belgium and France is magnificent. This 1st ribbon walk is part of the total border that walks between Purgatory / Purgatory in Rekkem and the dunes in De Panne. In total, there are 6 ribbon walks of about 20 km each. It goes without saying that a ribbon walk is less obvious to do. The starting point and the end point are not the same. So for the experienced and adventurous hiker. Spending the night along the Schreve is always possible.

This ribbon walk starts where France, Wallonia and West Flanders meet and heads towards Komen/Comines along the Leie.
