Walking on the Schreve, the border between Belgium and France, is beautiful. This 2nd ribbon walk is part of the total border that walks between Purgatory/Purgatory in Rekkem and the dunes in De Panne. In total, there are 6 ribbon walks of about 20 km each. The purpose of the walk (and also the next 5) is to get as close as possible along the Schreve.
It goes without saying that a ribbon walk is less obvious to do. The starting point and the end point are not the same. So for the experienced and adventurous hiker. Spending the night along the Schreve is always possible.

This ribbon walk takes you largely along the Leie on the French and Belgian side.
