Shortening Zenne in Weerde (6km)

Start and end of the trip at the Kapelletje in the Vredelaan (next to the Belgacom mobile phone mast). The loop first goes to the football square of VK Weerde.

This loop is a shortening (2km) of the loop https://www.routeyou.com/route/view/430783/wandelroute-verkorting-zenne-zennemeanders-tuinvoetwegen-in-weerde-8km.nl, this loop leaves the Zennemeanders and the garden footpaths behind.

At the third bridge over the shortening of the Senne (the southernmost at Eppegem) you cross them (beware, narrow bridge). Then you take the second left (Gildestraat) where you dive through a narrow tunnel under the Brussels-Mechelen railway line (beware of the bumpy narrow footpath).

Perfect short walk/jogging in the morning and afternoon until 4pm (you benefit from the shortening to the full of the sun).
