Paris 3: Stage from Chimay to Laon. This hilly route takes you through the fields of northern France. Beautiful, but by the end of the day also a bit boring. There are hardly any opportunities to drink or eat along the route. The small villages are picturesque, but they also suffer greatly from rural exodus.
