VLASBEK CYCLE ROUTE The Vlasbek cycle route will be officially entered on 11 September 2016, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of nature association "VZW Natuurpunt De Vlasbek". Follow cycle path for 20 m, drive straight ahead and then 2 the street on the right and immediately back to the left. Continue to the end of the street. Turn right and continue under the R8 along bondgenotenlaan to Roterijstraat. Follow Roterijstraat as far as Kortrijksestraat. Turn right and turn left next street. 40 m further in Veldm.Montgomerystraat is the entrance to the Heulebeek domain on the left. Veldm. Follow Montgomery to just over the Center School and take the path behind the school. Drive around the grass square. Follow the drive from the Sportpark and turn left at the exit onto Nieuwenhuyse street. Cross Brugsesteenweg and continue to the water tower. Turn left onto Heirweg and after 20m turn right onto Industrielaan Continue to the double Noordlaan. Take the second road of the double Noordlaan on the right. Follow Noordlaan along the buffer basin, drive 100 m further left into the cycle path. This along factory building Saey. Cycle path runs through new part of Industrial Zone North, along some new future green buffers. Follow the cycle path to the end of Pieter Verhaeghestraat, turn right and turn right again at bakery Aster. Just before the railway turn left into the Kuurnestraat. Follow the cycle path until we reach the cycle path along the Rijksweg N 36, direction Izegem. Leave this about 100 m further left to cycle into a dirt road. At no. 136 we drive over the Vaernewijckbeek, which flows from here through a beautiful valley towards Lys.
