The culinary bike tour "Paters & Prinsen" starts at the Mie Maan hostel in Herselt. But no all-day tour of 55 km without a proper breakfast!
From there, the route takes you along beautiful and low-traffic roads to the Hof van Zichem, where a delicious warm meal awaits you, braised beef with fries, prepared with brown Paternoster beer, or a vegetarian alternative. You will pedal off the calories again along the abbeys of Tongerlo and Averbode, ultimately landing at the market in Westerlo, in the shade of the castle of Prince de Merode. The Brasserie Westelhof surprises you with a dessert made from regional sweets. You return home to Mie Maan, not with a Stella, but with a Paternoster Dunkel or Tripel. Enjoy your cycling!
