The Kaiser-Karl Route takes you through Olen and some neighboring municipalities. Olen and Kaiser Karl are inextricably linked. This is ensured by the legend of the pot of Olen. A innkeeper from Olen presented the Emperor sequentially with a jug of beer with one, two, and three ears. The three-pot fountain in the marketplace of Olen illustrates this immortal story. If you find the basic route too long, you have the option to cycle the northern loop of 34 km or the southern loop of 25 km. After your tour, just like Kaiser Karl five centuries ago, you can try a local beer in one of the cozy cafes.
