Donkey Hiking Great Courtyard to Hobos.
Both the Great Courtyard and Hobos have a rich history. The Great Courtyard used to belong to the Abbey of Floreffe. Here you can admire, among other things, the most beautiful tree in Flanders! Hobos was previously owned by Drossaerd Clerckx, who earned a reputation as the man who rolled up the Bokkerijders, a large gang of thieves. Here you can still find traces of this past.
In addition, the later owner always managed the land completely organically, leading to a unique vegetation. In this nature reserve, no artificial insecticides, sprays, or fertilizers have ever been used.
