Region-GR Kempen Variant Turnhout-Oostmalle

The Streek-GR kempen is signposted yellow-red and has 253 km. He takes you from Baarle over Hoogstraten and Oostmalle to Herentals. Then via Turnhout and Ravels back to Baarle. As a supplement, connections are provided between Oostmalle and Turnhout and between Herentals and Geel. Useful to map out a number of shorter walking loops.

Between Oostmalle and Turnhout there is a connection route of 23 km that is described in both directions in the topoguide. On this route you will get acquainted with the Kempense Kanalen, the village of Vlimmeren and the Koeschotsebeek. Thanks to this route you can make two large loops: Kempen Noord (7 days) and Kempen Zuid (5 days).
