The nature route of the Peerdsbos starts at the Peerdsbos Sports Center or the central parking lot at Melkerij.
From there, you begin at a historic shelter and the adjacent restored Bremdonckhoeve. The route then takes you over a distance of 5.1 km through the beautiful Peerdsbos. The terrain is flat and the route does not require any special skills. The ground is ideal for running and mainly consists of sand and gravel paths. These are generally well-maintained and only a bit muddy in some places during bad weather.
Is 5 km not enough for you? No problem, connection loops to running routes in the Brasschaat park and also to Schoten have been provided. If you combine the various marked running paths, you quickly reach over 15 km of unpaved and natural trails in the urban outskirts of Antwerp.
