Last updated June 2, 2021: The Fortuinberg has replaced the Kanarieberg.

A beautiful starting point for the route is the parking lot at De Ham in Oudenaarde. The route runs mostly along quiet roads that are mostly (relatively) in good condition, without cobblestones. Even without cobblestones, the Flemish Ardennes are a recommendation for driving through! After leaving Oudenaarde, the first kilometers follow the paved bike path along the old railway embankment between Oudenaarde and Berchem (literally leaving the Koppenberg on the left). Afterwards, the climbs listed below in the Flemish Ardennes are followed in a clockwise direction:
