Meeting point at the Topsporthal, where you can choose a route around the water sports track or in the Blaarmeersen. Or of course, you can do both.
This route is particularly popular among students and other runners due to its proximity to the Topsporthal Vlaanderen and the Blaarmeersen, where you can switch to a slightly longer distance of 5.6 km. The terrain is mostly unpaved, which is 'milder' for your body than paved paths. The running route around the water sports track is 5 km and marked with blue arrows; the running loop around the Blaarmeersen is 5.6 km and marked with green arrows. Both running loops are almost completely traffic-free.
