The running route in Wetteren ten Ede is a popular running track for locals, starting at the church of Wetteren ten Ede, at Wetterensteenweg 7.
There are two loops/distances available here:
-The green running trail: this is 4.6 km long and perfect for a relaxed run.
-The blue running trail: for those who are a bit better trained, there is a running route of 7.1 km, consisting of an average of 67% unpaved paths.
This route is well and clearly marked by the uniform signposts of Sport Vlaanderen and offers a wonderful view of the nature and landscape of the surroundings. The blue loop runs partially along the banks of the Scheldt, where one can enjoy the tranquility and water.
