• Beautiful landscape: The route takes you through the gentle hilly landscape of Haspengouw, along picturesque unpaved and hollowed-out paths. You will hike along the Mombeek via the Finnbahn to the avenue of Castle Jongenbos in Vliermaalroot, through the rabbit orchard and back through the low-stem fruit gardens to the center of Kortessem along the old tram line. Along the way, you can admire picturesque chapels and the Sint-Pietersbandenkerk in Wintershoven.
