Very nice and difficult walk around the Nisramont reservoir. Departure and end of the dam (jump), (5h walk). Lac des 2 Ourthes is located at the confluence of the west and east of the Ourthe. In the mid-50s, the 116-meter-long dam (Nisramont Dam) was built here. The water in the reservoir is purified and supplies the area with drinking water. The dam also serves as a hydroelectric power station. Bring food and drinks as there is nothing to find along the way. It is worth leaving the path from time to time and walking to the shore of the lake. You can of course walk the walk in 2 directions, the route is marked clockwise (follow the red window). To reach the Nisramont Dam take the N860 between La Roche and Houffalize, there you take the exit Nisramont (7km), is a Y-junction, you make a long descent on the N843, at the bottom, just before the bridge over the Ourthe, turn left, you arrive immediately at the spacious car park, where you must leave the car, A little further, you arrive at the Dam.
