This motorcycle route, which you can also travel by car, takes you through many surprising landscapes and roads from the museum where the famous Bernissart iguanodons are installed to the Bernissart mine shaft where the fossils were found. The route ends at the E42 so you can quickly get to your destination from there. In the 19th century, fossils went the other way, the bones cast in plaster to protect them from the sky so they wouldn't fall apart. You take this route in the opposite direction, although this is certainly not the exact route that has ever been followed with wagons. This brings you back to where these animals lived 125 million years ago.
